  • Design and Animate Intro & Outro sequences, bumpers, and looping backgrounds for each episode in multiple orientations for web, social, and vertical video formats

  • Coordinate delivery of assets to video production partners for use in final interview cuts

  • Coordinate delivery of social assets to marketing partners

BACKGROUND

Sunshine, Sachs, Morgan & Lylis, was brought on to redesign the look and feel of the Create Change: Conversations with Creators series for their second and third seasons. Working closely with the Creative Director, I helped develop the visual language and adapt it for animation as well as social graphics. I created unique intro sequences for each episode and, packaged up with outro and transition animations, worked with our longtime production partner, Lathien, to integrate the various design elements into their remotely-shot interviews. I then took the design elements from the videos and created static social assets promoting the episodes and impactful quotes from each featured video.

Season 2 | Pride Month

Our inaugural season working on Create Change was in celebration of Pride Month. Videos featured talent including Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer, RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, Bob the Drag Queen, and renowned comedian, Wanda Sykes. The design elements were colorful, in-your-face, and full of constant motion, to suggest the ever-evolving nature of the creative world and the artists that push the boundaries of what’s in style.

Season 3 | Hispanic Heritage Month

Our next season with Adobe highlighted Hispanic creators, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Guests included Brooklyn-99 and Encanto’s Stephanie Beatriz, Music Artist, Alaina Castillo, and Actress, Model, & Activist, Jillian Mercado. In keeping the layout similar to the previous season, we were able to reuse a number of the original layouts we created, and make our edits to the aesthetics, including a revised palette, new patterns, and new logo that energized the series and spoke to the rich, cultural history on display.
